Irene
G. Mehawk, 86, of Washington, died Saturday, May 21,
2005 in Warren Haven Nursing Home.
Born: March 29, 1922 in Oxford, NJ, a daughter
of the late George and Mary Mehawk.
Personal: She worked as a waitress for Wayfarer
Restaurant in Washington for 10 years. Irene graduated from
Oxford Central School. She was of the Presbyterian faith. She
lived in Washington for 30 years previously she lived in Long
Island, NY. Irene enjoyed making crafts and taking care of her
grandsons.
Survivors: a daughter, Nancy Molomo of Washington;
two grandsons, Christopher and Mathew and many nieces and nephews.
Services: A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday
at 10 a.m. at Warren Hills/Ford Memorial Home, 234 West Washington
Avenue, Washington. Cremation will be held at H.G. Smith Crematory.
