Margaret
J. McGrantham, 84, previously of Bethlehem Township,
N.J., Jersey City, N.J. and Edgewater, Fla., died Saturday,
June 12, 2004, in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Born: May 24, 1920, in Jersey City, N.J., a
daughter of the late Michael and Gertrude Revell Parusa.
Personal: Her husband, Frederick, died in 1979.
She was a homemaker and a waitress at Palmettos restaurant in
Jersey City, N.J. for many years. Margaret loved bingo and crafts.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors: four sons, Frederick of Jackson,
N.J., Kenneth of Melville, N.J., Philip of Little Falls, N.J.
and Steve of Las Vegas; a sister, Julie Hillick of Carteret,
N.J.; a brother, Howard Parusa of South River, N.J.; 19 grandchildren;
25 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
A son, Richard, died in 2002, and a daughter, Margaret Maguire,
died January 17, 2004.
Services: A Memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m.
Saturday, June 26, 2004, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200
W. Carlton Ave., Washington, with the Rev. Robert Ascolese officiating.
Call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday June 19 in the Warren Hills/Ford
Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington. Cremation
services are under the direction of H.G. Smith Crematory. Online
