Florio Mazzeo, 89, of Hampton, NJ, died Wednesday, December 20, 2006 in Lyons VA Hospital.
Born: On September 15, 1917 in Plainfield, NJ, he was a son of the late Angelo and Dora Mazzeo.
Personal: He and his wife Martha were married for 60 years. He resided in Plainfield, NJ, Middlesex, NJ, and Daytona, Fla., before moving to Hampton, NJ two years ago. He was employed as a truck driver for Weldon Concrete, Bridgewater, NJ, for 37 years. Florio served in the Army during World War II. He loved to play cards.
Memberships: He was a member of Spruce Run Lutheran Church. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Martha, he is survived by a son, Ronald; a sister, Agnes Cancellate, both of Dunellen; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Two sons, Michael and Robert, died earlier. Services: A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the church, 442 W. Hill Road, Glen Gardner, NJ. Cremation was private.
