Seymour Marsh

Seymour Marsh, 92, of Blairstown, died Thursday, July 29,
2004, in his home.
Born: March 31, 1912, in Brooklyn, NY, as son
of the late Seymour and Emma Smith Marsh.
Personal: His loving wife of 69 years, the
former Wampha Urban. He was an Industrial Engineer for Merck
in Rahway for 20 years. He retired from Monsanto Co. in Kenilworth
after 12 years of service. He lived in Washington, Cranford
before coming to Blairstown 10 years ago. When he wasn’t spending
time with his family he loved to play golf.
He served in the Army Air Force during World War II. Seymour
was a Combat Photographer in the Pacific.
Memberships: He was a member of the Kiwanis
Club in Washington.
Survivors: his wife; two sons, Seymour Marsh,
Jr. and his wife, Lyn of Easton, PA and Blaine Marsh and his
wife, Barbara of Blairstown, NJ four grandchildren, Jonathan,
Susan, Michael and Gina; and two great-grandchildren, Rees and
Ian.
Services: 11:30 a.m. Saturday, in First Presbyterian
Church of Washington, 40 East Church St., Washington, NJ with
the Rev. James Scovell Officiating. Visitation from 7 to 9 p.m.
Friday, in Warren Hills/Ford Memorial Home, 234 West Washington
Ave., Washington. Burial in Bloomsbury Presbyterian Cemetery,
