Hedwig
Groover, 81, of Asbury, N.J., died Friday, August 20,
2004, in Hunterdon Care Center.
Born: June 2, 1923 in Pittsburgh, Pa., she
was a daughter of the late Frank & Teresa "Pietrzo"
Kielek.
Personal: She was a lifelong resident of the
Asbury and Hampton area. She worked for Exact Level in High
Bridge for many years. She retired from Hitran in Flemington
in 2000. She was of the Catholic faith. Her husband, Donald
W. Groover, died in 1966. She loved her cats and she also enjoyed
gardening.
Survivors: her daughter in-law, Joanne Groover,
of Asbury; a granddaughter, Amanda Gloss and her husband, Bob,
of Riegelsville, Pa., and two grandsons, Don and Jeremy Groover,
both of Asbury. A son, Donald F. Groover, died in 2003.
Services: A memorial service will be held at
11 a.m. Wednesday in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery. Cremation
is being handled by H.G Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, Pa. The
Warren Hills / Ford Memorial Home, Washington, N.J., is in charge
of arrangements. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions
may be made to the SPCA Animal Shelter, 576 Stamets Rd., Milford,
