Eddie J. Ersalesi, 90, of Oxford, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2011 at Warren Haven Nursing Home.
Born: January 4, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Ersalesi.
Personal: He was formerly from Mansfield Township.
Eddie was a manager for Saxon Paper Co., Brooklyn, NY, and retired in 1983. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards and puzzles. Eddie enjoyed watching the New York Yankees.
Memberships: He was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church in Port Murray. Eddie was also a member of the Seniors Club in Great Meadows.
Survivors: a niece, Mary Ann Hagedorn and her husband Bruce of Stroudsburg, PA; a nephew, Robert Winston and his wife Kathy of Randolph, NJ; sister-in-law, Joan Ersalesi of Clearwater, FL; and her daughters, Rosemary Albanese and Valarie DeFilippis.
He was predeceased by brothers, Evo and Henry Ersalesi, a sister, Ada Winston.
Services: Visitation will be Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Services will be Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 12:30 p.m., memorial service with Father Zenon Bozcek officiating, at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
