Ray
E. Busch, 62, of Washington, died Sunday, August 1,
2004, in his home.
Born: August 20, 1941, in Spring Bluff, Missouri,
a son of the Late Von G. and Grace Brown Busch.
Personal: He and his wife, the former Audrey
Schmitt were married 42 years. He was a Chemical Engineer for
BASF, Washington for 34 years retiring in 1996. He lived in
Washington for 35 years previously residing in Michigan and
Missouri. He graduated from the University of Missouri in 1962
with a BA in Chemical Engineering. He served for many years
on the Warren Hills Board of Education, and earlier on the Washington
Borough Board of Education. When he wasn't spending time with
his Family he loved Civil War History. He was a life long fan
of the St. Louis Cardinals. He was also an avid fan of Warren
Hills HS Sports. He will be deeply missed by his family &
Friends.
Memberships: Ray was an active member of St. Luke's Lutheran
Church in Washington, serving in many rolls over the years from
church Council President to 5th grade church school teacher.
He was an active member of the Warren County Chamber of Commerce
and with the local United Way.
Survivors: His loving wife; a son, G. Douglas
of NC; a daughter, Mandy Hoffman of Fla.; a sister, Diane Busch
of Illinois, A brother, Lowell of Louisiana. two grandchildren,
Kaitlyn Talitha & Emma Grace. A daughter, Talitha Reiling
died in 2002.
Services: A memorial Service will be held 2
p.m. Saturday, in St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Washington,
Washington, NJ, with the Reverend Scott Schantzenbach Officiating.
Cremation in H.G. Smith Crematory Stroudsburg, PA. The Warren
Hills / Ford Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave, Washington
