Ronald
N. Brake, 72, of Oxford, NJ, formerly of Flemington
and Washington died Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at Warren Haven
Nursing Home.
Born: On March 9, 1932 in Wakefield, Michigan,
he was a son of the late Donald and Ellen Nobel Brake.
Personal: He and his loving wife, Charl, celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversary on October 30, 2004. He worked
as a Chemical salesman for the Upjohn Dow Chemical in Michigan
for 32 years before retiring in 1985. He graduated from Chicago
University with a MBA. He also graduated from the Case Institute
with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Ronald served in the
Army. Ronald had a commercial ballooning pilot's license. He
enjoyed coin and stamp collecting.
Memberships: He was a member of St. Joseph
Catholic Church in Washington. Survivors: In addition to his
wife, Charl, he is survived by four daughters, Susan Bulmer
and her husband, Kenneth of Washington, Nancy Lynn and her husband,
Leo of Clark Summit, Pa, Linda of Boonton, NJ, Patricia Nagle
and her husband, Jeffery of Maine; a son, Michael and his wife,
Shirley of Massachusetts; a sister, Margaret Windekanecht of
Michigan; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A brother, James, died earlier.
Services: A Mass will be held on Friday at
11 a.m. in the church, 200 W. Carlton Ave., Washington, NJ with
Fr. Robert Ascolese officiating. Calling hours will be Thursday
from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Warren Hills/Ford Memorial Home, 234
West Washington Ave., Washington. Burial will be in St. Joseph
